My thanks go to the Officers and committee for inviting me
to judge my first breed open show, to my stewards who helped me throughout the
day and those who entered and travelled to the show, I hope I gave each exhibit
a good assessment and every exhibitor enjoyed the day, I definitely did.
1-Veteran Dog
1st 22 Isfryn Peeping Tom JW 8 year old Compact well boned with excellent body
proportions, Deep forechest, Short coupled and shown in Hard condition very well muscled in the rear with good feet. Moved with drive
covered the ring easily with pace and power. Tail never stopped enjoyed his day
2nd 27 Llon Derwen at Gwynmarren 8 year old His rich
red coat hides his age, Masculine head with Dark eye & strong body with
excellent spring of rib, well boned good feet short hocks, moved well just not
the drive of 1

1st 26 Glenbrows the Time is Now at Gwynmarren
21 month old Good size for his age and in the raw
puppy stage of life. All the parts are in the right place and with a little
time sure he will develop. Good depth of chest with ample spring of rib, very
soft expression kind eye, moved OK will tighten up with maturity.

1st 2 Jacranella Galahad of Cherryheath JW 2 year old
Typical Welsh head of good proportions, soft dark eye well developed muzzle for
good scenting ability, Lovely lay of shoulder good
spring of rib with large chest, strong back quarters used to actively propel
him round the ring easily.
2nd 16 Cerysan Limited Edition
2 ½ year old Rich red and white coat shown in top condition, deep forechest and
good ribs shorter coupled with good angles front and rear, tight feet ample
bone. Moved well just preferred drive of 1

1st 24 Kidenoan Mark Time for Merrem JW 3 ½ year old Shown in exemplary condition
Typical head with soft eye and expression, clean throat with good lay of
shoulder and length of upper arm, well sprung rib cage strong back with
excellent rear end. Good tail set and well developed second thigh. Moved with
pace and power would like to see him in a large ring where he can fully extend
out
2nd 15 Trosley Tamoshanta 5 year old out of a
different mould to 1 Soft expression with dark eye showing a little age in the
foreface, deep chest ample bone, markings make him look a little stuffy in the
shoulders but upon inspection shoulders are well laid back, strong body
throughout, moved well just not with the drive of 1
11 Open Dog 3 entries
1st 28 ShCh Llon Lewys at Gwynmarren 7 year old My view in
his prime at this age Masculine head with dark soulful eyes good width of
muzzle lovely stop, strong neck leading into well laid shoulders good length of
upper are resulting in good angulations well off for bone good tight front
feet. Body is compact and well rounded short coupled
with a strong back and top line. Rear quarters strong with well let down short
hocks. Tailset low and carried well. Moved with drive
and purpose straight in the front and rear. A real old school type really
like him. Happy to award RBIS
2nd 19 Amanshe Lone Ranger 6 ½ year old Good
size with a lot to like head of good proportions kind eye, shoulders well laid
back with good width throughout the rib, OK rear angulation and good feet.
Moved OK just not with the drive and extension of 1

1st 30 Tahang Hawthorn 7 year old 3rd in Open class has good qualities masculine
head of correct size kind eye good forechest and depth, good spring of rib
short coupled, OK muscle and angulation of rear quarters. Moved OK
14 Veteran Bitch 4 entries
1st 25 Isfryn Lady Godiva at Fireglow JW VW 8 year old As soon
as this girl entered the ring I was hoping my hands
would confirm what I was looking at. She moved with such drive and extension.
Once stacked she didnt disappoint Feminine in the head with soft eyes, good
length of neck good deep forechest best of feet, Lovely
rib and deep through her body, short coupled, great angulation at the rear with
Strong well muscled thigh
which she used to move once again with grace and ease. Very
happy to also award her BIS and BVIS
2nd 14 Sh Ch Julita Rumours at Trosley 9 year old looking good
for her years Pretty head, good dark eye, lovely deep forechest and good depth
throughout, well off for bone, tight feet, rear angulation good with short
hocks, moved well just unlucky to meet 1st today

1st 23 Nyliram Hold My Hand at Isfryn 16 month old such a happy
girl who was giving her handler a bit of a hard time, a real wriggle monkey.
Good head with dark eye good length of neck with well laid shoulders and length
of upper arm, good depth of chest for age. Longer through the body with good
angulation at the rear. A little loose moving away but given time Im sure this
will improve.

sweet head and expression lovely dark, good reach of neck, could do with a
little more length in upper arm. Body OK will develop with maturity,
rear angulation was ok. Moved straight and true coming and going away.

1st 8 Gilstonia Snow Moon 5 year old stood alone in the class and a lot to like with
her Good size Feminine Head, clean throat good lay of
shoulder, firm body with well muscled thighs short
hock excellent cat like feet, moved well would like a
bit more drive.

2nd 17 Julita Ryvetta JW 7 year old very tight decision between these 2 which could
easily reverse on another day Good width of muzzle yet
still Feminine good length of neck into well laid shoulder, deep chest, solid
body, strong rear quarters with well muscled, moved
OK.

JW 10 year old Fantastic condition for her age, Lovely
Welsh head kind eye strong neck with ample angulation in the front
end straight front with tidy feet, deep chest and level topline with
good width all through good angulation in the rear moved straight and true.
2nd Amanshe Mermaids Tears 7 year old
was 3rd in Open like 1 Sweet eye and expression good front assembly firm
topline good depth of chest and spring of rib short coupled. Moved OK if a
little subdued.

Thank you to all the exhibitors for bringing their dogs for me to appraise. Temperaments were all superb, lots of waggy tails. A delightful breed to judge. Thank you also to the committee for their superb hospitality.
J D/B 1 Nyliram Hold My Hand at Isfryn - 16mth B Beautifully balanced, symmetrical, compact. Lovely head, proportionate, slightly domed, well chiselled under eye, smallish low hanging ear, medium sized dark eye. Long muscular neck, great layback of shoulder, matching return of upper arm. Matching rear angulation. Medium length of leg. Good depth & breadth of ribs. Great coat texture, straight, silky, dense, moderately feathered. Firm, round, cat like feet. Moved true with power and drive. Tail lively in action.
PG D/B 1 Jackranella Galahad of Cherryheath (AI) JW 2yr D Larger dog but still well balanced, symmetrical & proportionate. Best of heads. Long muscular neck well set into sloping shoulders. Medium length of leg, well boned. Deep brisket, well sprung ribs, good length of ribs, well coupled muscular loin. Strong muscular hindquarters, moderately angulated, well let down hocks. Dense silky coat, moderate feathering. Firm, round, cat-like feet. Powerful ground covering movement with drive from rear. Strong topline, held on the move.
2 Cerysan Limited Edition Rising 3yr D Smaller type, rich red and white colour. Very kind eye. Melting expression. Symmetrical, balanced, moderately angulated fore and aft. Good depth & breadth of ribs. Smooth silky dense coat with moderate feathering. Firm, round, cat-like feet. Compact, strong boned, well muscled neck, shoulder, slightly arched loin, deep second thigh. Well let down hocks. Smooth, powerful ground covering movement powered by strong muscular hindquarters.
3 Nyliram Hold My Hand at Isfryn
O D/B 1 Kidenoan Mark Time for Merrem JW 3 1/2yr D Masculine head. Slightly domed skull, low set ear, clearly defined stop into medium length of muzzle, well developed nostrils. Dark hazel eye. Long neck well set into sloping shoulders, matching return of upper arm. Matching hind angulation, well boned, fully developed with deep second thigh. Deep and wide brisket, well sprung ribs. Medium length of leg, well boned. Strong muscular back, well coupled, slightly arched muscular loin. Moved with power and drive, topline held on the move. Tail lively in action.
2 Julita Ryveeta JW 5 1/2yr B Very feminine head. Kind expression, medium sized eye. Well chiselled under eye. Long neck into sloping shoulders, matching return of upper arm. Good depth and breadth of ribs, well ribbed back into muscular loin. Slightly longer in body. Moderate hind angulation, deep second thigh, well let down hocks. In fit, muscular condition. Smooth, silky, dense coat, moderate feathering. Straight legs. Smooth powerful ground covering movement.
